Palazzo Payton – Bari, Poggiofranco district

In the new residential and commercial development “Palazzo Payton”, built by Sanguedolce Costruzioni srl, IsolGypsum Special and IsolGypsum Special Super Green from the Isolmant 4You line were used to provide thermal and acoustic insulation for the walls between the apartments and the lift shaft.

Installed with a specific suction-effect adhesive system, the solution significantly improves indoor acoustic comfort. Thanks to the Salvamuro function, it also enhances the thermo-hygrometric performance of walls directly adjacent to the lift shaft, eliminating the cold-wall effect and reducing the risk of mould and condensation.

IsolGypsum Special consists of a 10 mm Isolmant Special layer bonded to a type A gypsum board (standard plasterboard with a rehydrated calcium sulphate core lined on both sides with cellulose-based material). Its technical properties ensure high acoustic insulation performance and contribute to the building’s overall energy efficiency. Upon completion, Palazzo Payton will be certified in energy class A4.

The system complies with the Italian C.A.M. (Minimum Environmental Criteria) requirements for building materials, in terms of acoustic performance, recycled content and absence of hazardous substances.

Confirming Isolmant’s commitment to sustainability, the Super Green version was also selected: an innovative plasterboard panel containing 35% recycled material (the highest percentage currently available on the market), bonded to Isolmant Special Fossil Free, a non-fossil-based polyethylene certified ISCC Plus.
